LETICIA MONTES
Leticia Montes is a native Arizonian who grew up in Nogales & Tucson AZ. She started her career in dentistry her senior year in high school working after school as a dental assistant. She continued working in dentistry while attended the University of Arizona where she majored in Biology. It was during this time that Leticia learned the importance of multi-tasking and mastered the ability to prioritize tasks.
After college, Leticia traveled and lived abroad volunteering with religious and local organizations. This experience gave her the opportunity to perfect her Spanish and develop strong leadership and communication skills. Upon returning back to the United States, Leticia settled in Phoenix AZ where she worked front and back office for a few years before finally settling in Tucson AZ where she worked as an office manager in a new dental practice. Here, she created and implemented office policies & systems and developed a growth plan that allowed the office to reach their desired benchmarks. She understands what it takes to run a successful dental practice.
Leticia later returned to school to pursue a degree in Dental Hygiene at Pima Community College where once again had to manage a busy schedule – studying, dental assisting in a busy oral surgery office and raising her son. She also continued her volunteer work with organizations such as The American Heart Assoc., The Flying Samaritans, Freedom Day USA, and the Boy Scouts America. Leticia has excellent organizational and time-management skills, is very efficient and recognizes the importance of these skills in running a business.
Leticia has been a practicing dental hygienist since 1998. She practiced for ten years in Tucson before moving to Prescott in 2007. It was while living in Northern AZ that Leticia recognized a need for qualified individuals to meet the staffing needs of local dental offices. Dental Temps AZ started as a 3-person team of hygienists in 2016 and very quickly grew to what it is today. We are a 5-Star Staffing & Coaching Service the mentors & provides employment opportunities for individuals in local dental offices throughout Arizona. We provide bot Temporary & Permanent Staffing and Business Solutions resulting in our Client’s Success!
Leticia now spends most of her time in Tucson where she currently overseas Dental Temps AZ business and mentors dental hygiene students at Pima Community College as an Adjunct Faculty member. She travels throughout Arizona visiting & consulting with clients and providing continuing education for her candidates. Leticia also practices clinical dental hygiene a few days a month, continues with her volunteer work and loves spending time with her family and 3 puppies. She stays busy and absolutely loves her life!
